A portrait based off an old photograph of my dad when he was younger. I hand drew the old photograph of him and started making lines bolder with a marker such as his jawline and his eyebrows. After bolding some lines, I started going in with watercolor and painting very dramatic shadows and highlights. After that, I used a pen with ink to splatter it with a pen and then kept decorating as i wished. It was really fun to be able to show him this and see his reaction.
