I made this piece using stippling, which is using a pen to make a lot of individual dots to form different types of values. For the hair, I wrote the name “Branden” over and over again while doing some of them in different angles. Needless to say, it took a very long time. For the background, I used cut up newspaper and tape and painted it over with purple acrylic paint.
